Retail stores which do not have regular brand ambassadors visiting usually only have 50-75% of head office agreed products on display. It goes without saying the negative impact this has on sales for most brands. After working with stores we have an average compliance success rate of 117%. By the time we finish with a store more of the brands we work with have products on the shop floor than was planned by an average of 17%  (2015 – 2017 data across three consumer electronics and white goods brands in John Lewis). 

 

Having products on the shop floor is an essential starting point. Beyond that, the presentation and location can also vary drastically. We have an established network of relationships with many departments within John Lewis, Currys, PC Worlds, Richer Sounds, Harrods, Selfridges as well as independent stores around the UK. The decision as to where products are located varies depending on the retail staff’s relationship with a brand ambassador and the ambassador’s ability to negotiate. We train our staff rapid rapport building and negotiation techniques which gain us prime locations, gondola ends/end caps, top shelf positions and in-store presence for no additional cost for our brand partners.
